G'day Allan, whilst i have been asked to protect the identity of whom i traded these two Scorpions from,i would suspect they may have passed through a few hands and could have even done some  overseas travel at some stage of their existence as well as appearing on your corkboard at some time.LOL Brolly

Mike
I have a lure the same colour pattern as the pink/black/silver Scorpion,
I was told it was an RMG.
Any chance of a sideon pic with a ruler?
Laurie.

G'day Laurie,I included that particular Scorp in the photo shoot expecting it to be questionedLOLwhilst i'd be fairly sure Peter never painted it, i can't be sure he never made it?As for a side on pic you may have to wait for a bit as a kayak spill last week means i now don't have a cameraLOL

G'day Laurie, after seeing your pic i now realise we are talking about two completely different lures.I thought you were referring to the pink/silver scale pattern Scorpion in my pic of 4 to 5 inch Scorps.I'm sure  the one you have posted the pic of is an RMG with it's trademark dipped black head. Hi Laurie, if you are refering to this pic then these lures are not Brolly's lures but were owned by Alan Sloman many moons ago before passing onto other collectors and eventually splitting up. Alan confirmed with me that a few of the lures were RMG scorpions when he gave me the photo so the lure in question is one of Gaden's

Just checking for any articles dated 1983 on Peter and came across this thread, I wondered, Brolly, if any new additions to the family have occurred since the original post.

Yes John, certainly the collection has grown substantially since the original photo shoot.
Unless i have to do a full rellocation (due to lack of room) and given how long the original photo shoot took,i can't imagine i will pick up the camera any time soon to do a full update of the pics. Mike(Brolly)

Just wanted to acknowledge Brolly's contribution to the sites collection of lure pics and knowledge. This thread has seen over 10000 views and is the most popular thread I believe on here by far. It is rare to have a look at the active users and not see either a member of guest looking through it. Thanks again Mike for putting it up.
Alistair.

I am only a fairly new member, so I have just stumbled across your collection.
I think I may have wept a tad........ or at least Jesus did!
Bloody marvelous collection!
Makes the couple I had years ago that I lost to fish and snags, feel like I lost a working treasure.
