G'day All
Without fear of wanting to offend anybody as I have a shop full of Cod lures! My personal favorites at the moment are - Hard body - Garra's and Kuttafurra's Spinnerbaits - Bassman's & Edge Surface - Gobsmacked, Koolabung, LBM & Jackall Pompodour's. The Garra Peeli 100's are new in store and I have found they have a great action and swim perfectly when fishing around the 20ft mark. Love the Kuttafurras for both casting and trolling. Bassmans have always been No1 for SB's and always will be. Edge Lures / Spinnerbaits are a new kid on the block. Unlike most of the new brands his are not junk and have quality components, great color schemes and some thought has gone into their design. Cheers TB

If people want to find out what tackle store I own I'm sure they will dig deep enough and find out:-) Great site, great topics, great people and great info. Don't want to upset the apple cart with blatant business self promotion. Cheers TB

I think we need more people like Tony. Tackle shops that go out of there way to stock Australian made lures as it's much more profitable selling imported lures .Have not been in Tonys tackle shop and I would say he stocks a lot of other brands as well Cheers Graeme Note do have friends that supply lures to his shop. |

Five years ago I would have religiously used Bassman Spinnerbaits when chasing cod.
Nowadays the timber revolution has truly bitten me hard and Kezza's Mudmouse/Mudrat & TN60 Jackalls account for most specklies these days. (....must remember to put the spinnerbait back in the tacklebag after the kids have finished decorating the Christmas tree with them this year)

My favourite Cod Lure would be an AC invader in Traffic light colour or dark brown in appropriate depth closely followed by Oargee Plows in VS and V colors. Location decides a lot.
