mine would have to be the spanyid raider (i think thats what they are called) in the 20g and 10g smallest ones...

got this golden on 1000 penn accord with 6lb braid...on a raider. got him just off eliott heads on the artificial reefs casting into the beyond for some reason.... around 8kg by memory, got him about 5 years ago and still to this date have caught many on the same lure...

Nick

In the Gold Coast canals when they are schooled up and chasing herring schools, a chook bone with a treble attached to it wouldn't last more than a coupe of cranks

Cheers

Got this little fella on a spoon as seen in the picture, off the Urangan Pier, Hervey Bay a few weeks ago, brilliant way to break in the new t-curve.

Most successful lure for me has been the humble old 40 gram slug dropped to bottom around the trevally schools then worked up at pace. Caught plenty of Goldens this way as well as numerous other trevally species, tuna and mackerel. Go to lure if I only had 1 to use.

Jeff.
Quality still delivering lond after you have forgotten the price.
