Aaron is that some old Lures, ore some you have made. Is it correct, that it is some Wood with Alloy bend over it. The reason i ask is have an idea very close to these Lures. Have a lot of the alloy plate, i got from work, making Freezers
Use it to make some very light Spoons, to throw out with Bombarda float.

PJ,
the lures shown by Aaron were made by revered Australian lure maker and noted angler John Knol.

These were made mainly during his time living on Magnetic Island off Townsville, North Queensland.
I haven't heard the full story, but gather they were made as an attempt to construct a lure capable of withstanding the attack of tropical species with rather large teeth. which soon reduce normal timber and plastic lures to a very sad state of repair.

Thanks Brad had an idea thy were old. Looks that way. But Have seeing what Aaron can come up with. So had to ask. can understand the concept of Teeth mark reducing materials, with out adding to much weight, to the Lure.
Now i got more curios. Did thy go in to production, and when were thy made
