Can this orange stinger be timber? It is not signed but against the black one, it is chunkier. It seems to have a very faint join line (can't be seen in photo) down the back which leads me to think it is moulded.  Also from previous posts, the black stinger with the painted eyes came after the dolls eye stingers - have I read that right?

Martin
It may have been an early "test run" before going into full production.
These pop up occasionally, I have Boomerang, Bills Bugs,Elliots and JP's in "cleanskins".
I dont think that the Maxi Stinger was ever done with "dolls eyes"  (I could be wrong)
Laurie.

Laurie, Yes there was mate (I didn't think there was either till I found one), Dave didn't make a timber one though (other than the master for the mould)

Guys, don't think there's many timber ones, only ever seen this one, found here in Darwin at least 20yrs. ago, thought you might like a look. Regards, Tony.
