Howdy, This is a new lure size ive made. Its a monstrosity! Ive given it a fair hammering in the murray today and gets down deep very quickly. It was ripping my arm off at 14m hitting the sand stone outcrops at the base of a cliff section. Even gave it a few cast and retrieves but was surprisingly easier to reel in than I would have imagined.LOLLOLLOL

Who cares, I can see in the lure that it was over cast today and it looks like you have a two story house. Better finish than my mates new Falcon.

Nah, definately no cod targeting down here at the moment! cod ban is extended for all next year now as well. Will have to wait till the over the border trip to try for one and put some hours in. Will be bloody excited when I do though.Big smile

A bit more on the big boys, I was lucky enough to get given one of these from Heath and do not be put off by the size/ bouyancy issue.
These lures get down quickly and i was smacking the bottom in 10 metres of water.
These are also perfect for heavily timbered cod runs that are 3-4 metres deep as you can run them on a short leash bumping and floating them over almost every snag.
