This "Wiggle Tail" is one of the best bass catching lures that I make. My biggest bass(9-1/2 lbs.) was caught on the first I made with the frog skin.

Thanks for the comment , Darcy.
The first one I made I went to South Carolina to fish with a friend in a 18 acre pound where he lived. He was using a creme worm and told me that the southern bass liked worms and wouldn't hit crank baits. After 4 nice bass, (2-1/2, 3, 4, and 9-1/2 lbs.) he wanted to know if I had another lure like that. I caught 2 more the next morning that was about 4 lbs. He didn't catch any on the worm in two days. He hooked a big one but his pole was too limber and he didn't have a good hook set and it threw it out. I left the lure with him before I left.
Keep your string strecthed, Darcy,

Verlon

Hi Verlon.
That is great testimony of a good lure design ,I had the chance to fish with a mate who was using one of my home made lures and I just got a few new shop bought lures I thought that I would kick his ass ,but after being out fished by 4 bass to not a touch I too went to one of my own lures  and soon caught up with him so in the end the home made ones were the best on the day.
Regards Darcy.

Thats great Darcy.
A good friend said,"When you fish in Verlon's boat, he won't let you use anything but those circle"V"baits."LOL

Take care,
Verlon

Hi Verlon
If you get over this way to fish ever , we'll all be happy to use Circle V baits from our boats...but of course will hope they are left there when you go back home!

Hey Wayne, I have always wanted to visit Australia, but my wife won't fly.
If I ever get to come there, I will have plenty of lures and will leave them as
long as I get to go fishing.
Have a great day,
Verlon
If you are on Facebook, you can see a nice album of my lures. Chris also
has some nice albums.

Hey Darcy,
The little lure at your signature is a beauty.
Any chance of trading for a couple?
Good fishing,
Verlon
