John
I remember these from some years ago - I think I may even have had a couple but the cobwebs in the brain are obscuring any chance of memory retreival. If they're the ones I'm thinking of, they were very light, cast poorly and floated like a cork. It was probably when I lived in the ACT ('00 - '05ish) if that helps. Steve |

sorry, but I don't have them any more, or any photos of them - never thought I'd get someone asking after them 11 years later Which reminds me, maybe I should take a shot of everything I've got now Steve |

Just found your post John- sorry for keeping you in suspense but I reckon these are what used to be called "DKW LURES " --
Turns out 'DKW' was Dennis Houghton, whom I had met many times years back when I was also selling lures (mid 80's-90s) and I think he was a silent partner in one of the tackle stores I used to sell through, never knew he made lures though- very mysterious guy!! This is about all I could find out, and anyway is probably already known.
Not sure where the 'Paragon lures' name comes from but 'Paragon' is a big name here ie: 'Paragon Mall' ,"Paragon Printing", Paragon Press", "Paragon Car Park "--all Greek businesses, so I would say Dennis Houghton (not Greek) may have sold all his stock to some Greek guy in a bar in Fyshwick--OR, he may be the owner of 'Paragon International' and just renamed them??????????????????
My collection pictured, all appear to be made from expanded foam/resin, except for the two red ones (top R/H corner) which are molded rubber or latex?? Sorry about the quality, but it's a picture from a picture, from a post from a post.

John--on further investigation I have found that "Paragon International" is transport company registered in the U.K--so there you go, must be a tax dodge, the Greeks have moved over there too .

turns out i met a guy who opened a tackle shop here in queanbeyan last year and his name was darren kerry white (whitey) and he told me he made the aggressor around 2000 but went out of business because of an arguement with the then owner of the fishing hole(parragon mall fyshwick ACT).last year was still making the lures under the name of tiddlers but the aggressors no longer in production.original tiddlers were balsa but are now moulded.his tackle shop only lasted in town for six months and went bust.
