I used Stingsildas for salmon tailor & mulloway in the surf very successfully. They became very popular in SA until copies replaced them however the Norwegian lures had a superior finish. Orange & gold were very successful for Mulloway at the Murray Mouth when there were small carp washing out in the fresh water during high river. I still have some unused ones hanging in the shed. Got one in a packet somewhere and they were distributed under the Arbogast stable in the mid 1980's from memory
