I've just received a lure (thanks Mick), which is a handmade diver with a small red dot on the underside.
Reading Barry's previous posts, I'm summizing it was made by this gentleman. First one of these for me, could someone pls tell me a little more about Keith ie. where he hales from, output, models and ages of manufacture.
There's no bio on Keith, so any info. appreciated.
Regards, Tony.

Keith was from Townsville and a very keen fisho. He passed away this year. When I get a sec I will post a few up.His signature was a red dot under the belly. He made lures for a long time and sold a few at some local markets as well as a bit of boating gear and tackle.

Hello all, I was lucky enough to get to get to know Keith and once his health started to fail he offered me his lure making gear. An opportunity too good to pass up. So I ended up with his gear and over 400, yes thats right 400 lure templates. I have not seen many of his actual lures but I am slowly getting enough info from various people to enable me to start making a few. Mine will not be exact copies and they will be distinguishable from Keith's. I would be only too happy to help out with any info and I would also appreciate any help in return.
Cheers,

Gavin
