    Posted: 28 Apr 2012 at 4:23pm
Thought I share some new ones. Recent  fishing trip with my son influence this new 'Boney' lure , we saw a Boney Bream floating on the surface so I used the same profile, needs more R+D, hence the different bibs.
Also came up with more of a perch lure 'Discus' and some Grasshoppers.
All lures are handcarved from white Beech and painted with water colours

nice stuff ollie...all nice but the grasshopper, is a beauty.....very similiar to the rebel....grasshopper popper....and I donrt mean that in an offensive way, I think they are great and want one in each color....and  A black one with red eyes...great detail, you are a genius.

Top job mate , Grass hopper is excellent ! I reckon the Discus would go well on my Cod here and the Boney in the Green and Yellow would go well on the Yellas .
I like pretty painted sticks

WHOAH!!!!!!!! Rad shapes Ollie, I love the curves in the Discus, be a bugger to carve too many in a session.

Like the semi foil on the Boney's... and the hopper...I am afraid to show the screen to the missus in case she screams and runs away...

Thank you everyone for your kind words, really appreciated.

Aaron/Jas will let you know when I have some more ready.

Brad, Discus/Boney sure are a challenge to carve having higher sides but great action.

Shane, thanks for posting a couple of older lures, sure brought back a few memories, couldn't remember when you mentioned long skinny lure(was killer on Flathead).

Cheers
Ollie
