These bibless lures were made by Allan back in the very early 90's I ended up with most of them, they were never even given a name lol and the mould was never even stamped, they were never released onto the market. These are all that remain I lost most of them to coral trout in FNQ, but I think Craig a member here may have got a couple of me as well.
Cheers Warren

i can remember buying a couple of these blanks mail order in the early 90's, came with trebles and rings. i think the ad was in fishing world. you had to paint them yourself. interesting to know that's where they came from. will post pics if anyone is interested.

Think I'd better clarify here, those are not lively lures. they are pro rigging kit lures designed by Paul Dolan (Al Dolans Brother)
It does look like the particular ones Warren posted above were part of a batch that Al Dolan painted, as Matt mentioned above they were normally provided as unpainted blanks.

I did put a post up about these lures and the pics of the ones I have that I got off ebay but something frazzeled the post and I never got around to it again. Mine are exactly the same colour as the green and pink above but also have a red one as well. Never seem to have done much good on them but you can troll them at a pretty high speed.
