Hi all,
Here are a few OCD Mini's I have been working on. The prawns are 53mm long,10mm thick and the Mullet & Herring are 50mm long and 11/12mm thick. These are my prototypes, yet to be tested on fish. The Black, Gold & White Herring swims like a demon, can't wait to try it. And Yes I do still have all my fingers, some are now a little shorter though, sanded them down on a few occasions.

Well done, Gavin. I like the look of the prawns
Carving and sanding the tiny lures can be a bit challenging and damaging to the hands and finger nails! Have you tried making them back-to-back, like I do my lures? It certainly makes the lures easier to carve and sand.
Cheers

Travers,
These are my prototypes and I used different timbers to get different float rates etc. so I made them individually. When I make so more I will be trying your method for sure. Thanks. |
