Thought I would introduce you all to the newest Gidgee Lure.
Meet the "Woody"
The "Woody" is a custom lure designed for the "Run Off" Barra up there in the Northern Territory, and is a special order for Got One Darwin, as requested by Craig, and painted in their favourite colour schemes.
These beauties are 220mm long and are all hand carved.
Enjoy
Cheers
Tom

Beautiful looking lures Tom.
You must have Go Go gadget arms to carve a lure that long. (That would be a 'long blow' for a shearer.)
Looking good. Love your lures.

They are indeed painted metal bibs and to carve 40 of these in one day was a mighty fine effort the hands were a bit stiff by the end of it. from carving to postage was around a 9 day turn around.

Thanks for the reply Tom
You have been a busy boy, that is a top effort mate to get them churned out so quickly.
Can I buy some off you if you are selling any that you make in future (no rush). I would love to try a couple in the dam for a Barra.
Cheers

Tom, nice to see the chin minnow influence. I just started painting a big 3 hook chin minnow to send to a helpful soul up north, nothing as fancy as those paint jobs of yours though.
