I have been asked to give Gimgeta a hand to post this up, the text and pic below are his collection. Tony =========================================================================== MY FLOPY HEAVAN COLLECTION
Hi to all the collectors , that love the look of the flopy lure in all its colours and sizes. .This collection
of over 100 ,has taken me over 7 years to complete and they are so hard to find rare ones any more.
So it is time to show it off , as i think ,i am finished collecting for a while.
Hope you like all the very rare blue flopys from large all the way down to the small baby blue flopy.
With a heap of spare hooks and bibs and the lippy lures in packet and the rublex frog.
The posters are from the 70s , out of a shop display overseas.
This makes a flopy Heavan for the little lures .
Hope you like the photos of my collection.
Cheers ,
Gimgeta. |

Thank you Gimgeta for sharing your wonderful collection with us. I too love the unique look of the Flopy lures and it makes me quite nostalgic seeing them all here as they were the very first type of lure that I was introduced to back in the day when chasing "Perch" in the Richmond River. You should feel very contented and proud with having put this lot together.
Well done, Col P.S. There is no such thing as "finished collecting for a while". |

What an awesome collection. They have such a soft “ plop” when landing on the water that, that in itself attracted the fish.

Hi , Ricky,
Thank you for showing your collectoin of flopy lures , they seem to be so hard now to get the rare blue ones and will cost you a lot of money to buy . I do not know the total cost of my collection, but to replace it would be big $$$$ I have sold all my doubles and now just have a heap of bibs and hooks , with this lot. Good luck and hope you get some rare ones to add to your collection. Regards, Dave { Gimgeta }
