I know those lures well and clearly remember the corny packaging with the fish bounding up to the counter sayin "I'll take it". I used those lures off the rocks in early 1970s. The lure on the left was called a "Tailor Ticer" and featured the wire clip mechanism you can see, supposedly to help you set the hook. Before casting you moved the hooks up the spring clip to the mid point where they stayed until you had a take. Under the weight of the fish they then slid back to the rear position. I don't think that Halco was the original maker (Wonder?) but they ended up marketing a range of cut metal lures including a hexagonal shaped one that had a hole in the centre filled with sponge like material that you were encouraged to fill with tuna oil as an extra sweetner. I still have a few and will dig mine out as well. Regards, Ken.

Jackson Lock and Brass Launceston, had a machine geared up to cut brass round rods and had a liquid running over the blade and rod, to cut brass slicers/wobblers/ slugs. Not sure who they made them for . The units were sent away for chroming.
Regards John
