Trev, here's the real forerunner of all the new Blades.....
introduced in 1959 (WHAT Blades are not a new invention ) still made today and been in constant production since introduction. Cordell also did a version called a Gay Blade Reef runner had the succesfull Cicada The gay blade dates from the late 60's and the Cicada from about the early 70's. everything old is new again, the only real new thing is the anglers. Strange how things turn out,isn't it.
Mum gave me one of those Heddons when I was a kid in the early sixties and I said to myself "I an NEVER
gunna use that stupid looking thing cos I can catch 50 redfin a day on a Hogback spinner"
Never did either and still have it.
Change the name to Blade and they're fantastic.
