Is there an agreement on a list for “hall of fame” collecting for different areas of the country? I am thinking of letting lures go to add to my lees collection but some have been hard won. Top 25 or 50 makers for say NQ, New England etc. thinking I should at least keep one if each for my hall of fame collection then concentrate on Lee’s. What do you all think is a list that would fulfil this idea??
Is this a good way to collect, continue to hoard everything?? Concentrate on one? Know it’s personal but would like to hear opinions. |

I had many lures by lots of makers collected over 40yrs., decided a couple of years ago to just concentrate on BarraKing Lures in the 4" minnow size. Also, started to collect one of as many Aussie timber makers as I could, to date I have around 350 and counting, it's a work in progress.
You can't collect everything, just ask stamp or coin collectors, they generally specialise in one country. Also, by thinning out my collection I made quite a few $'s Seaweed. (PS Bring your excess to the Expo in the Traders/Collectors area, I'm sure you'll find takers.) |
