Another lovely little lure Mate Thumbs Up

Have always admired you lures Morry and after spending some time in your shed with you a couple years ago, I have even more admiration for the simplicity with which you make such an awesome little lure, you certainly left me with something to think about, keep up the good work mate Clap.

g'day Mick, it's something I started to do about 20 years ago after i lost a good fish when my home made omega clip let go, so after that all lures i made had the full length wire going through the bibs. I'v had 2 lures bitten in half, one was a big sea toad and it was landed because of the full length wire, and the other was a crocodile and i got away (good) I try to make them as strong as possible. Over the last 2 years they have become a lot stronger than before with a couple of processes that i do now. Cheers Morry.

Thanks Carl, when i first met your daughter at Surfers markets and she told me who she was, I was blown away that i met Carl Grist's daughter. In my eyes you are a legend. For you to talk about my lures like that is a real boost to my ego, thanks Mate.

You are more than welcome Morry, I am a believer in credit where it's due and you have done the hard yards, am still surprised that every man and his dog does not have a handfull of your lures in there tackle box ?? especialy at the price.
I must find the time to visit again and check out your new stuff, might even learn something lol.

My Kneebones, some early ones and a few lovely hand painted, enjoy Big smile.

WOW. G'day Carl, Mate you have got more of my lures than i have, do you want to sell some? HAHAHAHA. What an amazing display, i can remember making nearly every one of them.  There's some bodgy ones there also as you know there's a lot of trial and error when it comes to making lures and trying different shapes and a few of those don't work, like that bibless one in the middle. Well done done Mate and I look forward to catching up with you at the expo.
