This article may help ID some early metals from the 70's that are in the unknown basket and appear to have been re introduced in the 90's.

Surely someone has a Hopkins. I went close but my markings/ indentations appear to be slightly different.
Some of you Southern Boys chasing the salmon my have the odd one or two.

Well done  Steve the first one to come to light.

It is a wonder Bob did not have several being on the coast.

Even has the the name imprinted on the lure

Regards John

John, I have quite a few Hopkins. Some are the NO-EQLs and some are the Shorty's (a similar shape but slightly broader). I will post a pic. Thank you Steve for bringing this post to my attention. Regards, Ken.

I am sorry for the delay in making this post. My "quite a few" must have meant that I have lost quite a few and now have only 4 of my originals left, 2 No=Eqls (left of picture) and 2 Shorties (right of picture). Attached is a picture of my survivors. I understand that both lures are still in production in the US and can be purchased in both a smooth finish and the beaten/dimpled finish that I have.  Regards, Ken.
