Picked up a new one yesterday from td pullen. One of his lures painted by Shane Love. Called a "Gecko" which is an apt name going by the look of it and the action it would have in the water.

Here is a sneak peek at 2 Dempsters I revamped for Reelsandlures63. The lure was in a pretty bad way, split in two, eyelets rusted out and timber rot.

After a little TLC.

Here are the two lures restored.

To restore a little piece of history, it makes you feel good and it make it worth the effort.
Hope you like them Steve.

Cheers,

Gavin

- The second is one of 2 original smaller Goodoogas made by Brett Campbell and painted by Peter Newell. The lure came directly from Brett and dates back into the 80's I am told. It is 140mm long.

- The bibless lure is a Manns Manniac which was painted by Paul Kneller - an international hybrid !!

- The cutlet bone shaped Whitmore Shrimp was a body given by Paul Kneller to Ray Whitmore who painted it. I'd suspect it dates back to 1993

How good is the Manniac and Cutlet Bone Whitmore.

I hadn't seen this post yet so thanks for pointing it out Alistair.

I have an old through wire Cherax in the same pattern as that Manniac and photos just don't do it justice.

Cheers,

Danny.
