Recently cut down some Jacaranda and Poinciana branches that are now logs .... sent a few down to Lofty who has kindly reminded me to cut them up into small blocks and dry them.
Other than a chainsaw how am I going to cut up logs into nice, let's say 6cm strips for drying. Anyone on the Gold Coast who has access to the right weapon or can point me in the right direction, please contact me, cause I'm a little 'stumped' at the moment Cheers Rob |

Rob, unless they are bigger than 150mm dia, a luremakers bandsaw will do the job, using a 10tpi ripping band.
If its bigger I would venture you will need a proper industrial size band saw or a big saw bench to minimise wastage that a chainsaw will achieve. |
