Here are some of the lures aquired off John Venn last weekend.One can see influences by Moller,Edwards,Nilsmaster,Mirro-Lures as well as RMG,Tilsan,Cordell,Leads,C Lures and Rebel.The Spinnerbaits were for Mackeral and made in the early 70's.

Jeez Barry...they are nice. I like the 4" and 6" shallow diving minnows!

I asked him the same question and he said he thought it was easier to write than Venn and still sounded like his name.

nice lot of lures there, did he sell a lot?
Really like a few of his designs,the elton john is a ripper, (scaled one) and I really like the herring moller style one.
