Here are 5 jointed Mantis showing the variations over the years. (left to right) First one had a curved cutout with a creased bib. Next one they made the cut a V which gave better movement with the following one getting the pressed shape bib still used today. They then made the rear joint a straight cut with a hand painted design before going over to the pressed stamp pattern design seen on the last one. After this they went into plastic in the same shape and pattern.
