I am Krazy about Krays too! and I thought I would add pics and story of my Barambah Cray. Most of you have seen them all before, but I wanted to add them to this great thread.
I made four back in March, all with weights in the tail, to fish like a soft plastic, hopped along the bottom. Body and claws are timber, and the claws float up into a defensive position. Legs and feelers are mono, and very time consuming. They also have a rattle, so there are 19 holes drilled in each cray.
I then made a big batch of them, hoping to be ready for the 2015 expo. The work that went into them was ridiculous, so I didn't have them ready in time. But there were 26 in the second batch. Taking the total for 2015 to 30. I made 16 of the weighted versions, and 14 bibbed versions. Including four nude bibbed ones. All got mounted on a leather backing card with a pewter Barambah Lures badge.
I kept a couple for myself, and the rest have gone to Lure Lovers members' collections.
Cheers,
Matt
