Among a bunch of wooden lures recently sent my way from Kununurra was an Edwards.

Not a Norm Edwards but a lure made by Laurie Edwards in 1988 for sooties in Kununurra.

About 10 or 20 made.

Rugged is certainly an adjective that could be used to describe it in terms of construction and finish but it must have done the job.

A fine sportfish in their own right by all accounts and they get a bit of condition on them in Lake Kununurra apparently.

Hi Steve
I was the benficiary of a mate who lives in Kununurra and every now and then I get the fruits of his labours in going through his mates tackle boxes sent to me.

I do think its a bit special for the scarcity and also not many WA makers.
