Steven sent some Fizzers for my Boys to use.
Joey pounced on the little one, like a Seagull,,,,,,,,, MINE,,,,MINE,,,,MINE!!!
This arvo we got a chance to wet it.
Nearly dark, Thunderstorm on the horizon, 30 deg, no breeze, Barometer 1016.
In 5 casts, Joey had a dozen short strikes.
On the 6th cast, the first hit stuck!!!
35cm of Hunter River Bass!
Joey was STOKED, as will Steven be when he reads this.
Thanx again Steven.
Cheers   MAL

Yeah Steven, wish we could get out a bit more over the last few weeks.
Circumstances! Angry
Now this little fizzer has a home on Joeys dresser.
Note under says 'DON'T TOUCH!' Cool
Gotta love the littlies and what they come up with!

For my part, I'm a man of my word.
Thanx Steven.

Martin, Joey thinks ALL Bass should be 48cm or bigger.
Didn't make his smile drop any quicker!!! Thumbs Up

Steven,
I feel a lot comes back on Parents NOT enjoying the company of their kids.
Fishing, football, camping, car maintainance, train rides, shopping, anything.
These days a lot of Parents won't spend time with their kids, so they're not 'friends'.
This can make it difficult for open communication between Parent/Child.
So the downward spiral begins,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
It's no guarantee but we are on the frontfoot!!!
I am an Advocate of Take a Kid Fishing, I rarely go without some kids.
Often, their mates come and have a BALL!
It's not all fishing either, it's the experience,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Eagles, Bats, Tortoise, Platypus, Monitors, Cicadas, Caddis, Worms, Flies, etc, etc.
Every trip is an Adventure!
Thanx, Steven, it is great to see, but I believe it should be 'the norm', not an exception.
Cheers   MAL

I could not agree with you more mal,i was takeing my daughter fishing at a very early stage of her life and she loved it(the wife was not so impressed, her little princess doing boy,s stuff) then they were both glad to come fishing it was a great day out fishing having a picinic lunch on a sand bank or edge of a dam, exploring the water ways, catching fish and mud and sand crabs and comeing home to cook up a feed of fresh fish that we all had a hand in catching (that is of coarse if we actualy caught anything. and we did it all as a family it was a great day out for all and an adventure to boot. my daughter is now 24 and still talks of our trips to the Pimpama river chasing flathead and to maroon chasing bass the logan river into the whiting.and when we get a chance we still go fishing together. thanks mal it is great to see pearents enjoying their time with there children. steven
