When I was last in QLD my uncle told me a bloke a few houses down made lures.. I didnt get to meet him but My uncle went to see him and asked if he could buy a few lures for me.. As it turned out the gentleman who makes them worked with my dad in the QR workshops years ago and was happy to gift some to me He was calling them ROO lures but he is now calling them Lobby lures in reference to his nick name... some shapes i recognised straight away.. seems he fished Glen lyon dam a bit and knows handbrake anyway here they are..... loe having them in my collection.

Yes I do recognise them as Don Lobwien's and son Allan, both good friends of mine. These two fellows sure put in time on the water when they come to Glenlyon. Debbie D

Well here is proof that Lobby's Lures work well. Caught today by son, Allan 20lb Cod 78 cms. One very healthy specimen and lost a beauty as well. Don and Allan enjoy fishing together and carry that thru to making lures together as well. They are hobbyists as they don't sell many..

Carl, they make good traditional cod and yellowbelly shapes. Don't think that that lure is one of Don's. Did't see any that were towed by nose.

Thanks for your time Don.
On much closer inspection it turns out to be molded so the plot thickens.
