I'm assuming you make timber lures to troll for Mackerel. The simplest way to make a template (if they are for your own use) is to trace around a popular Mackerel lure. This is a lure I found at a garage sale and is just a homemade one but swims well at high speed and would be good for Mackerel, etc. Just trace around with a pen and cut out. One template!! Same with bibs. Then you can change shapes and experiment. That's how most of us started.
