Jusy windering if anyone has tried Macadamia as a wood. I have just cut a tree down thought i might give it a try.

Great timber for lures, has a beautiful grain for nudes... Will need to dry it out though!

Like Ian, I have used Macadamia Nut timber for nudes, it looks nice but it can have very differing bouyancy rates. Some younger timbers float well but I had some very old dark Mac Nut timber and it sank like a rock! Let it dry and give it a try.
