I have been very fortunate of late to have reestablished contact with an old fishing acquaintance who has some amazing lures. He has a good array of lures which came from Eric himself some of which he still fishes with. He does have a few that are mint and some which I have not seen here on LL. The bottom four lures in this photo were made from offcuts by Eric for his mate Vic McCristal with the purpose of chasing Sooty Grunter, they are unusual, unique and pretty special I would imagine. These were passed on to my mate by Vic in his later days.
The other two lures are mint and came from Eric himself, The orange is an absolute cracker. Enjoy Steve R !!!

Great find, I'll tell Bruce Moller about these, he'll possibly be around for a beer tomorrow. He told me his grandfather made some special tiny lures, but I've never seen any.
Also he said Eric once sent lures to some anglers in America, be interested to hear if any of them ever surfaced, there are several US members here. Seaweed. |
