I was going to post this in the "what the blazes is this lure" thread but I do know that it is a Koolie. It is very light so I am suspecting that it is a foam based lure. What I don't know is…….. What Model is it? When it was made? Are they are still made? and how collectable is it? What I do know is it has never been fished and is in mint condition. I do not have any more of these so I may be interested in a swap for a timber Nth Qld Barra Lure. Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers Scotty

Scotty, From memory, they were called Boney Barra Bait or similar, could be a softie, is it squishy between thumb and forefinger??
If not it is probably Aus Red Cedar.

Definitely a Koolabung Boney, made in 3 sizes from memory. Eddy Studman from Port Macquarie, great barra lure, timber, what I don't know. I think the later ones he is doing in some sort of composite material. I dragged about 6 I had during the week, prior to selling them along with all the excess lures I have accumulated
