It's been a few years since I have had an opportunity to throw some lures at Cod. Back in my Tenterfield days, these battle scarred Diggers and Kaditcha accounted for a lot of nice Cod. Yellow & black was, and will always be, my favourite coloured lure for Cod and Yellowbelly.
Cheers

Of course I'm going to say something like my own spinnerbaits which will outcast and out fish any other on the market place! Secondly Marz lures, cod beatles, split rock specials, cod kings, cod grubs, fatboys, and any other hand carved timber lure! By far the best plastic moulded lures I've ran across are Jumbucks lge sizes, lawsons river kings and bills bugs cod lures!!!! Best surface lure would be a toss up between lge bills bugs fizzers, mudeye depth charges and xos size jitterbugs! These are just my thoughts only, B.J.

Hi all
I would have to be a bit biased about these but I would have to say Bobs four eyed frog they are a great innovation and the man himself what more can one say ,of course there is the Mencho lumpy that was used to great effect by John Glynn when fishing at Splitrock dam. Regards Darcy.

Howard, there are a few members who know why I find that comment very insulting. The truth is that both the Digger and Dart evolved from Peter Newell's Guppy and Peter had a huge influence on my luremaking, as he did on Trevor's. The good news is that both lures catch plenty of Cod

Some nice old relic's there Travers. They look like they have a story to tell and a few memories too. Love seeing the old battle scars - battered and bruised. Thanks for posting them up. Would love to see some fish pics also...if you have any.

I always throw on a Garra Terra,,,bought a heap a while back..like years ago, They seem to catch the cod and they always swim over the timber. I have never lost one, they swim backwards always..yellow and black or yellow and red work well.
