Had a call from the Museum of Tropical Queensland a few months ago enquiring as to whether I'd be willing to loan them some lures for their local collectors display . Too easy , so the wife and I went along for Canapes and drinks at the exhibition opening this evening . After the formalities were dealt with , we got to check out the various displays . Some of the highlights were a collection of KISS stuff, Dr Who stuff including a full sized Dalek and some lovely old microscopes and cameras . Best thing was they put the lures smack bang in the middle of the entry Wink , sitting atop a beaut collection of TinTin stuff ( yeah , you older fellas know who TinTin is LOL ) .

Cool Stuff, Mick.
I know of Tin Tin, He is an Uncle of Tin Man found on LL. LOL

Seriously though, Tin Tin was a Blood Nut Cartoon Chracter from late in the 70's, was he not???
I'm older, thank God I'm not in the Museum!
Rin Tin Tin, now there's one that would show your age!

Very cool Mick, the lure display looks good!  nice way to maximise use of space Clap

TinTin made a re-appearance recently. Jamie watched a new DVD recently of the new TinTin movie, I didn't watch it all but it looked the goods Big smile
Cheers, Tony

Mmmmmm jaffa's LOL . here's a couple for you Darren . Funny people these museum boffins , if I'd said '' Yeah I've got a full set of timber stumpies '' they would have replied '' That's nice , got anything really weird or strange ? '' LOL . I guess a lot of the visitors will be schoolkids so there is a bit of everything in there , a couple of Richard's nudes , BOB's tailspinner , one of Poolies fizzers and the Beast amongst others .
