Hi All. Here are my latest attempts at a brown trout pattern. 6 of my own lures and 6 fleabay vibe, plastic one's.
I tried airbrushing spots on them with no real success so I opted for a bamboo skewer. Come out ok but not totally happy with them. Oh well the fish won't mind I suppose.My timber ones swim to half a metre with a great wiggle and are nearly neutral bouyancy, slowly floating. The plastic ones are just a bit of fun and they run maybe 2 metres. Hope you like them

They look great and your home made lures should work well. I can just imagine them wiggling above a weed bed in a lake or river and a trout smashing then.

its hard airbrushing spots i do mine the same way Adrian just with a sawn off paintbrush stick.these look good mateThumbs Up

I saw a post that said you should clear coat over dots to stop them from bleeding into one another. I'll give this a try on my next lot

I'm going to give them a try on Lake Wendoree soon in Ballarat. I'll see if I can wiggle some trout and redfin out from the weeds
