G'day all. Lurked a while but decided to sign up today. I'm from the Hinchinbrook area, not long moved up from SEQld. Keen on lure fishing but only lately taken an interest in older lures for the man cave.
Some awesome reads n info here.
I picked up a few lures from a flea market stall the other day. (A shallow mac, 'C' lure, G finish, N Edwards, sea hawk n a couple with no names.) time to research these brands I suppose.
I'll post pics when I work out how.

Welcome TMMO, nice pick up. A signed N orm Edwards in very good condition has been going for around $300 latelyClap.

Yes the G finish is a ripplin' redfin  by Cotton Cordell - they are a good barra, flathead, tailor lure.

Cheers for the info.
When researching the rippling Redfin I couldn't find any with the G finish logo on the side.
These won't be seeing any action. Just a few wall hangers in the man cave.
As for the Norm Edwards n any potential value it's nice to know but I'm a bit of a bower bird much to my wife's disgust. I tend to hang onto things n not flip.

Welcome to the site Timmo.
I think you may find that the Redfin is just a std one whereas the rippling had convex concave sides .Pretty strange cordell the Ripplin.
The Little Mac is an American Storm lure.
sea Hawk is southern USA and was a tremendous Tarpon and Snook lure.
