A great amount of time, effort, and material used in the following nipper/ prawn styled  fly.

Reluctant to use prawn fly . Note neat raffia tail and segmentation of body. Plenty of detail.

Five flies located in Fisherman's Friend tin, unfortunately unknown maker.

Perhaps sent to me by LL member.

Grass hopper, green beetle, yellow moth, mudler style, and nipper/ prawn style
Regards John

Was out on the river this mornin.
The only visible action, was shrimp/prawns being chased, skitting across the surface.
Lots of em!!!

Packing continues.
Coming across fishing items I have not seen since arriving in Brisbane 20 years ago.
Reached 84 boxes out of the four car garage and about a 1/5 to go

Doing various boxes of fish hooks, and reels parts at the moment.
Regards John

I saw that pattern tied by a Kiwi fly tier at the first fishing tackle expo at Homebush Bay many years ago they are a good pattern I think I have one or six in my fly boxes.
