Well I assume it is a Local Lure as it says so LOL

any history on these lures any body ?

Totally different from Captains Lure he showed and writing is way different.  Same deal pretty old and as the name says made for Cod I reckon.   The eyes are pinned in and a very nice paint job when you see it for real.

Hi Tony

This red lure has a similar signature to the orange one that Carl put up in Cranky's post...also possibly not made by Ron!

Ron will be able to confirm either way!
cheers steiny

You could be right steiny

With the style of towpoint and target species I wonder if these other "Local Lures" were made by a more southern maker?

There's a few brands that were previously used by different people in different states (e.g. Kingfisher) which can lead to confusion. If we can find out where the other local lures were made I can add a section specific to them - any info greatly appreciated Smile

Cheers, Tony

For the love of Fishing Lures.
