2263 lures hanging on the wall, If one great lure, should accidentally fall, there will be 2262 lures, hanging on the wall. This could take a long time to get to the end of this tune. Leigh. |

Oops thank goodness Barry mentioned the no kids rule (they would have laughed at me and walked away anyway) I am now cross-eyed and have a stinking headache, although I want that very sexy Barry Cross Lure! Barry who painted that one? It looks like Ron Gallo's eyes, so my guess is Ron, whoever painted it I love it. Here's my go! - 1360 |

Hi Barry
Doesn't matter about the number mate, it's the size that counts. If I suck up and say you look like you got the biggest one, do I win? Oh yes , lure i meant! ;<) Wayne |

All the lures on the net and yes some are hard to see.The closest to the number wins.
It is painted by Ron Gallo.

Pete, It wont matter how many he has put up since the pics were taken, its the number in the pics.... Darbs
Mind you I think there should be an independent audit of the lure net just to be fair |

Barry has asked if I could announce the winner of this as he is currently otherwise engaged (probably got his head in a tacklebox of lures I imagine!)
The winning tally as per Barry's count was 1,404 so unless I'm mistaken I believe that makes Pete from Twitchy Lures the lucky winner. |

Thank you very much guys, I sat for 90 minutes the other day counting those lures and when Alistair came up close to my tally I thought he might have pipped me at the post. I kept losing count and had to go back a few times but I was still a little out on Barry's count but not too far though Regards pete.

Congradulations Pete.
To be honest I was tempted to lock the topic after I voted, then I would of won
It is interesting to see Brads method of counting. I printed the pics off enlarged (not the best quality) and used a black marker to dot each lure as counted. Then for the real small lures and metals I enlarged the pic on the screen and did the same with a whitboard marker on the computer
Barry, no more please
