brought a bare bones tinny over a year ago now & have been slowly fitting it out, did the floor first & today started on the front casting deck & built in esky , for those that don,t know the bench seats have a solid block of polystyrene in them, so leaving 50mm on the sides & bottom & lining it with ali works great as an esky, framed out for the front deck,& will fit a plumbed live well later, next step is to fit timber & carpet , & will also be making an anchor well..cheers..jayson

Thumbs Upkeep us posted Jayson, need some ideas for mine. My flooring is rotting so will have to do something again soon. Wasn't in the position to weld though - screws and pop rivets. Martin

Careful about using it in the Logan River though, maybe it should be called "log an snag river"?

radio package was $212 with postage

I used cardboard for the template, in three pieces L & R & one piece in the middle, once you get a good fit tape the three bits together & then transfer it to the wooden deck..

Be sure your rivets are Marine Grade Aluminium, Monelmetal, or 316 Stainless Steel, as almost all others will be, or cause Dramas.

got all motivated today after seeing Jeffs deck done, just had to finish fitting the sounder & tidy up some wiring, & then took it down to carlovers for a good vacuum
the board with carpet on the side has a little storage pocket for bits & piece,s I,m going to fit a piece of angle along the top with holes drilled in it for a lure hanger & some elastic hoops to hold pilers & sissors, cheers ,,Jayson
