I've finished painting the lures that will go in the Lure Packs (Cod Packs, Bass Packs and various mixed packs). Still have to add soldered tow wires and trebles, but at least they look like lures, now!

                        Diggers                                                                   Little Diggers

Cod               Deep Mack Attack                                      Boomas                          Grunts

        Mole R                                 Boris                        5" Kads                    4" Kads

                        3" Kads                                                                       2" Kads

Mini Kads                                              Trout         Micro Digger       Trout Attack

Shallow Scorpion    3" Scorpion       2" Scorpion           5" Scorpion            4" Scorpions

5" Mack Attacks                 Mack Attacks                                  Moogerah Minnows

                    Macleay Minnows                                                       New  Banner

When I get the Lure Packs done, I'll post them on here.

I'm currently working on some 'signed' collectible lures and the fish/half lure wall hangers.

I've also put together a few Lure Making Kits.

Tony, all of the lures, that are made to fish with, will be in $100 packs, like last year.  The idea is to allow fishermen an opportunity to buy old-style timber lures (no longer made), at a reasonable price.  Unfortunately, I haven't heard of any of the past Expo lures being fished, so I'm guessing that they are being bought as cheap collectibles, which is unfortunate.

I will have 'signed' lures for the collectors and some of those will be single lures.

Great to hear that the lures have been fished, John.  The whole idea of the packs is to give people an opportunity to fish with some classic old-style lures.

Cheers

I'm the same. Got some "Mckleay Minnows" from you last year. As above they swim very well. Can't catch a decent fish on any lure. Hope you have some for sale separately. PLEASE Ermm

Lost a bit of blood in the last day or two, putting hooks on lures.  Just got the Trout lures and ;signed lures to put trebles on.   Will attempt to get photos of the Lure Packs and 'signed' lures up on Saturday.

All of the Cod, Bass, Barra and Trout Packs now have trebles attached and are packaged.  Took photos without hooks to make it easier,  All Packs will be the same price as last year - $100/pack.

Unfortunately, the photos don't bring out the true colours in some of the lures. The Candy Apple Red, Fluoro Orange, Fluoro Pink and "Purple on Purple" lures look so much better than the photos show.

COD PACKS

BASS PACKS

BARRA PACKS

TROUT PACKS

A few people have mentioned to me that they would prefer to buy individual lures, rather than the packs, but the reality is  that it is the only time that I make the Kaditchas for fishing and they wouldn't be at the Exp if I was selling individual lures. Also, I spent about 16 years selling individual lures at the Maitland 4WD Show and I've moved on from rattling around in the money bag looking for change.  So, hopefully, the lures in the packs represent good value.

Last year was my first year at the Expo and I didn't let anyone pre-order packs.  saturday morning was a bit chaotic, so I'm happy to hold a couple of packs aside for people, so long as they collect them on Saturday morning.

I've got a few 'signed' lures and fish/lure wall plaques to put up.

A few of the 'signed' lures.

A full set of Diggers in stunning Candy Apple Red. The set contains a Mega Digger, Digger, Little Digger, Tiny Digger, Micro Digger and Bob (Bob is a Tiny Digger with bib shoved up his R's). $270

Old style Guppy & Grunt set.  Large Guppy, Large Grunt, Grunt and tiny Grunt.  $230

Full Kaditcha Set, from Mini to 6" in narrow body form.  $500 (a bit cheaper than normal price)

'Purple on purple' Kad set from Mini to 4".  $200  (a bit cheaper than normal price because 2 different patterns were used on the back)

4" & 5" Kads in Candy Apple Red  $250

2 Mega Boomas.  $100 each

I have 4 new deep diving 6" Scorpions.  $70 each.  This was the lure that I used at the Peter Newell Memorial Comp, at Glenlyon Dam. Nice action and dives deep but, like most competitors there, no fish!

I also have some 4", 5" and 6" Scorpions.

Cheers

I finished putting the Lure Making Kits together today.  Only 12 Kits this year.

Just need to finish a few wall plaques, now.

Still trying to get clear coat on the wall plaques. Bloody humidity!  Tomorrow is that last opportunity, so I hope the weather is kind.

I cut a couple of shapes out of Camphor Laurel and oiled them with Olive oil, to make 2 unique cheese boards.  So, if you get tired of buying lures, I've got a couple of cheese boards to take home as a present for the missus. Lamp
