I am not sure, but I think the 'bulletproof' locking bib system came along after 1996.
It is a Halco innovation, and Halco bought RMG in 2001 and if I remember correctly the Scorpions had the standard style bib for a couple of years before the 'bulletproof' system was incorporated into several models of RMG lures. Happy to be corrected if needed. |

I started guideing in 1999, I used 3 brands of lures, and bought lots of them, I didnt see a bullet proof bib on a scorpian (I still regard the 3.5 and 5m Scorps the all time best big barra lure made) arounfd 2002. So I think Darby is correct, I think these are HALCO,s made after 2002 for big REX.
Nice lures BTW.
