Here are some small minnows that I just finished making.
They are about 40mm +- 3.

It was a huge learning curve as very small changes in the weight/lip/body shape made a massive difference to the action. Also the top coat dulled the action a little. I am considering changing the lip on a couple of them.

We are off camping for a long weekend next weekend and I will hit the trout streams pretty hard and give these lures a good work out.

and here are a couple of lure that my 6 and 3 year old daughter made (with a fair bit of help from me).
They are pretty excited about the lures. My 6 year old has been plaing her colour scheme for the next one.

And they catch fish!!

Hit a couple of steams on the weekend and picked up a few nice trout. I fished mainly with the shiny small brown trout colour as it was working well.

Lost my net after this fish......

This rainbow was a fatty!! but I did not get a great pic.
