On a prompting from one of our members that I showed this lure to I sent off some pics to John Collett and got some good news back.
He said it was one of his very early Handcarved lures he made quite a while ago. When I get a chance I will visit him and see if he can put a timeline on it. I have had this lure for possibly 5 years now and always wondered about the maker. Length is 180mm |

Nice old lure Barry. The eyes and the H on the bib are normally a good indicator. I picked this lure up a couple of weeks ago with the same eyes and H on bib. regards Ian
