You do not see the bottom one very often , interesting to see the red flash still attached to the lure.
Thanks for posting. Regards John

Looking at one of those photos, I make the assumption that Blades aren't the newest kid on the block. It's amazing how the old become new again, but the family expands.

Barry, looking at the distributors of them, I see that Butterworths used to wholesale them. You should remember Ivan Innes who worked for Len Butterworth for decades. He only lives a short distance from me, and I often run into him at the local shop. I'll ask him when I see him next, about the DK lures

Darby, I remember the Sonar from Heddon catalogues, but I can't remember them ever being sold in Aus. I started into the tackle industry in 1971, well after the 1963 date on the Captains post, so they must have been about previous, under the DK brand? not Heddon. Not that there were many lure fishermen in this country in 1963. That profile is still available on US websites and Do It have a mould for it, so patents? if any must have expired. I got a mould 18 months ago and totalled about 10 different species on that "old fashioned" profile. As mentioned many times before the Bladerunner was modelled on it.

John,
Look at Aussbasstony's link to the photo in your Aussie or American post the other day. Cheers, Jim
