Is Pad painting a form of transfer, say completed in one stage saving time and money.

Coloured plastic body, then stamped patterns on the plastic.
The pads are like rubber stamps.

Bretts got it John, the pads are big soft blocks of silicon and the plates are made from engraved aluminium
each time the pad moves back off the the thing that its printing a fine smear of ink is wiped onto the plate(the ink really stinks, like auto paint but stronger).they're really cool to watch

A couple of questions.
Do the plastic stumpy's have rattles?
If yes, when did it change?
I have a large stumpy with "PAT. PEND" on the removeable bib, has this changed?
Thanks
Laurie.
