Unfortunately, John it has some worm burn from a soft plastic lure.
One spot is visible on the belly of the lure and there are two other spots not visible in the picture

Cheers

Pete,

this colour scheme was/ is my favourite colour in the Tassie Devil range and has accounted a large number of trout in the snowy lakes over the years. I only tried to fish this lure a couple of times but really had no idea how to use it so it was stored away in old tackle box. Unfortunately a neighbouring lure was incompatible and the lure now has some burn marks on it.

Cheers

Ian

These are one of the best surface lures you can get for trout at night , I'm sure they would work on other species

I've got one here somewhere here I will try and get it put on here

I'm also trying to find more for a member on here that asked for them

Been saving this one, appears more interest nowadays..
For some of you Freshwater Fisherman and perhaps collectors, this appears to be no longer available on the Wigston's Fishing Site, if you are trying to track down the colours this may help.

I have been trying to track down that propeller, or  a similar propeller blade  (for over 20 years, hobby shops no luck)) think the most important part is the  mm   between the blade and the fish cake for optium action/ operation

I know the there is a very effective metal  jig/press a copy of the Helin blade  along the N W Coast just unable to track it down, been close though.

Regards John

Anybody still using these for trout fishing.

If you beefed up the hard ware I wondered if they would work up north.
