I saw the photos of his big Spanish mackerel on Facebook. Quality fish especially from the rocks.

I was talking to Barney and Marylyn this morning g. Barney’s son had just finished a 2 week canoe trip down the East Normanby River to Battle Camp Crossing catching heaps of barra along the way. The trip ended just as the rain started. Barney is 78 years young and last did the trip 6 years ago. He said to go further to Kalpowar Crossing is a 3 week trip. Now that is a trip to keep you on the edge.

yes, off the rocks, in the rain , on his own , on an alvey. no where near the gaff, then carried it out 8 or 9 k's. he is on his way up to my levelConfusedConfusedLOL. oh yeah, it was 30 kgs. . . mick
