Ive got quite a few of those. in that color and green as well, exactly the same.....made in Indonesia.

Check out the paint on the tow point and the ear below the eye......same mold, I have about 1/2 a dozen in green and and the same paint as yours, they arnt hand made im afraid mate.

Lol, dont feel bad mate, they are still very nice lures, they are sold under a heap of names, mega frox is one, cost about $5 ea in indo, if you can find a good tackle shop. I got mine Yogjakarta, but have seen them in Bali and Jakarta to, they are dynamite on saratoga in the lillys, pretty weed proof, and cast like bullets.

Yeah funny I am in Saigon and got one today. Never believe what you see or here in Asia. Been to most Asian countries and you learn everything is not as it seems. As you said Davent, nice lure though. I got mine for $6.

I just picked up about 10 molded ones in Bangkok for about $4 each.
I did pick up a couple of supposedly timber ones for around $7 but they have much less detail.
I am fascinated with them, with the complete lack of rod work needed to get them jumping. Not many surface lures work best on a straight retrieve.
