OK QUESTION...HOW HOT OR HOW COLD IS THE WATER....will it change like that with natural conditions...or does water have to be (a) boiling or (b) freezing...

I'm in the process of working out the temp at which it reacts.....the outside air temp up here (Darwin @ 33°) is high enough for the thermo paint to be transparent all the time, to turn it into the thermo colour, in this case blue, I need to be indoors in aircon or stick it in the fridge for a few seconds.

I have it at work and am regulating the office aircon to see at which temp it starts to become transparent, I'm thinking about 25°.........

I'll keep you posted.

might be too warm in Darwin but it might work well in south Queensland and even further south where theres a fair bit of variance in water temps.ive been wondering how that paint would go on lures, could be onto something there BlinkyThumbs Up

Manufacturers specs: 24 - 25 °

Which is about right as I have the office at 23 ° and it's blue, if I go into the next room which is 26 ° it starts to become transparent.

One the surface in the warmer water then changing colour as the lure dives past the first thermocline - could be enough to tempt a hesitant fish.

Another one, this time black Thermo, better coverage than the Ice Blue and more spectacular results as the temp rises......
